Just to clarify one thing, I don’t think this is somehow the end of the world for IBM and Sun, I just don’t see how a small web-based startup who launches tomorrow is going to end up using a $2000 IBM or Sun server when they can go to Amazon and spend $60 a month on a server with no risk, and in 6 months time if that small startup turns into a Google or a Facebook, I can’t see them calling up either company and asking for a set of servers and disk arrays when a new fully operational server from…
