Doesn’t IBM Global Services employ 200,000 people and sell nothing but ‘services’, whether business consulting or systems integration and everything else they do?
It just seems to me that in a few years Amazon EC2 for example will very much be how managed computer hosting works, you don’t care what piece of tin your operating system is on, or even what country, just that you can run your application at the desired speed.
